Do It Yourself (DIY) – Parliamentarian Invitation Workshop
We are asking students to create drawings of "What they think the world would look like if it were run by kids" addressed to one of the 413 Parliamentarians (MPs and Senators). TEDxKids is a carbon neutral event, and so we encourage kids to use recycled cardboard as their canvas for the invitations. Talking points are provided for students who want to write a note about their drawing, which can be found in Documents. We invite you to choose your favorite (or local) Parliamentarian or Senator, create a drawing of "what you think the world would look like if it were run by kids," and write to them. We would love to hear all about your invitation! Please send pictures of your creative piece, explaining what you think the world would look like if it were run by kids, and send it to participate[@]tedxkids.ca.
